A theatrical, proscenium-style campaign led by a single performer.

Imaginatively exaggerated movement and props transformed garments into a playful, narrative-led festive collection.

The Client

Kindred of Ireland is a modern Irish fashion house founded by Amy and Joel Anderson. With Irish linen at its heart, the brand reimagines the island’s textile heritage through contemporary clothing designed and made in collaboration with local mills, makers and craftspeople. Its work brings old and new together: endangered skills carried forward through expressive silhouettes, playful detail and pieces intended to be worn for years. Craft, place and story remain present in everything Kindred creates.

The Challenge

“The Christmas Show” needed to present Kindred’s festive collection as a playful theatrical world rather than a conventional seasonal lookbook. The challenge was building a convincing stage and backdrop, then creating a distinct scenario for every look through Christmas trees, presents and changing props. With multiple outfits to capture across both film and photography, each reset had to happen quickly without losing the precision, colour and visual continuity that held the campaign together.

The Solution

We created a compact theatre-inspired set, combining the composed, playful influence of Wes Anderson with a handmade stage and painted backdrop. The central set remained consistent while Christmas trees, presents and other props transformed it for each scenario. By planning every look, action and reset in advance, we could move efficiently between scenes while capturing film and photography in parallel. The result was a sequence of festive tableaux that made the collection feel like a show of its own.
