Amelia Hall
At The Table, One Does Not Grow Old
A documentary-style approach designed to feel like looking into the space from the outside.
Postcard-style video and stills captured atmosphere, sound, and flow offering a calm counterpoint to high-retention social content.
The Client
Amelia Hall is an all-day hospitality venue in Belfast’s Linen Quarter, bringing together a pizzeria, cocktail bar, beer hall and bakery under one roof. Built around the idea that the table sits at the centre of everything, it moves from bright, relaxed daytime service into a busier evening atmosphere. Food, drinks, interiors and conversation give each part of the venue its own mood while remaining part of one shared experience.
The Challenge
The project needed to communicate a large, varied venue through a series of short social vignettes. Each space carried a different mood, from calm interior details to food preparation, cocktails and the energy of service. The challenge was to coordinate talent, dishes and drinks around a working venue, capturing everything at its best without interrupting the natural rhythm of staff, customers and opening hours.
The Solution
We planned the filming around service, moving through Amelia Hall’s different spaces as their light, pace and atmosphere changed. Carefully composed interior shots established the scale and design of the venue, while closer sequences focused on food, cocktails and interactions around the table. The resulting social edits offered concise glimpses of the full experience, each with its own character but held together by one visual language.
