The Merchant
We have been creating content for the Merchant Hotel for the past 6 years, with a luxury offering, The Merchant requires an approach that reflects their opulence. The Merchant has an extensive range of offerings with their spa, luxury suites, meeting & events space, fine dining & cocktail bars all needing consideration through imagery. We have worked on a stylised approach which has evolved over the years, landing with a strong emphasis on luxury imagery.
Each shoot at the merchant requires thoughtful lighting, intentional lens choices & a high level of detail to remain consistent throughout the suite of images. We use smooth mechanical camera movement for the majority of video work but allow for some handheld human input when documenting their events & wether it’s a stylised food shoot, an event or a more editorial piece, we use consistent light setups to remain true to the brand aesthetic.
